Pediatric Skin Lesions and Scars

There are many skin spots and lesions that a child can be born with or develop during childhood.  These can range from small nevi (moles) and dermoid cysts to giant congenital nevi that cover a large portion of a child’s body. Each of these lesions is treated differently.  Dr. Purnell is trained as a plastic surgeon in the removal of these lesions in the most aesthetic ways possible.  He is happy to see both large and small areas of concern.

 

 If your child already has a scar from an injury or surgery, Dr. Purnell is happy to evaluate and give advice on if and how that scar could be improved.
