Surgical Research

Dr. Purnell is a firm believer that surgeons should also be scientists.  He is active in both surgical research and in the teaching of the next generation of plastic surgeons.  He trains residents from multiple residency programs around the Chicagoland area.  Continue to check this page for updates on clinical trials and research studies that Dr. Purnell is participating in.
